Pro-life zakoni koji su nedavno doneseni u pojedinim saveznim američkim državama očito su uznemirili mnoge članove show business svijeta, a jedan od posljednjih pokazatelja da je tome tako je nedavno predstavljena modna kolekcija poznatog brenda Gucci.

Guccijeva kolekcija “Cruise 2020” koja je ovog tjedna predstavljena u Rimu uključivala je jaknu s natpisom “Moje tijelo, moj izbor”, haljinu s izvezenim uzorkom maternice te pulover s natpisom “22.05.1978”, datumom na koji je u Italiji legaliziran pobačaj.

Kreativni director Guccija, Alessandro Michele, objasnio je kako su ovi odjevni predmeti “inspirirani zakonima koji su doneseni u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama i osjećajem da žene trebaju biti više poštivane.”

“Ponekad su životni odabiri teški”, rekao je Michele govoreći o pobačaju. “Smatram da je to najteža odluka koju žena treba donijeti. Poštujem tu odluku. Poštujem tu odluku i poštujem ideju da je maternica vrt”, istaknuo je Guccijev kreativni director osvrćući se na haljinu s izvezenom maternicom.

Modni časopis Vogue, pohvalio je Guccijevu kolekciju zbog njezine podrške pobačaju. “Michele Gucci se obraća velikoj, raznolikoj publici, ali ova kolekcija će najglasnije rezonirati s onima koji razumiju koliko je toga u pitanju u borbi za ženska reproduktivna prava”, napisala je modna kritičarka Nicole Phelps u svome osvrtu.
